Miss Taralyn Sorenson

Director

Miss Taralyn is our center director. She has worked with children for more than 35 years from Montessori teacher, Special Ed teacher, Youth Program Director, and Taekwondo Instructor. She is a Montessori Trained teacher with a degree in Psychology and a background in special ed. She feels it is her mission to raise strong kids who can problem solve, believe in themselves and reach their personal potential. When she is not teaching, you can find her in the garden, on a mountain bike, or playing games with her family.

Funny story: when her granddaughters started attending they would yell, “Grandma!” And run for hugs whenever she entered the room. The other preschoolers caught the energy and followed suit – so now most of the kids call her grandma, even the ones who aren’t related by blood. That is totally fine by Miss Taralyn. She claims all the kids as her own and is grateful for the love and light they bring into her life.
